This Wilmington homeowner’s unexpected shower leak turned into a gorgeous showpiece in their bathroom. Warm and inviting, the new shower includes a river stone tile floor, large format wall tile with a neutral, marble tone, and a gorgeous glass tile accent band. We scraped the popcorn ceiling to give the space a clean, finished look, and installed glass shower doors, which makes the smaller bathroom feel large.

River Stone Tile

River stone floor tile adds a serene, spa-like feel to the space. The various colors of stones bings out the warmth in the tile, and the neutral shades in the glass tile accent band.

Glass Tile Deco Band

Take a look at the detail work required for the wall tile spacers. Although time consuming, this step is vital because proper spacing ensures that the glass tile deco band is straight, and looks its best.

Take a closer look at the finished product of the deco band. The decorative glass tile accent band adds a pop of elegance to the neutral shower tile.
