Work in Progress: Master Bathroom with Fireplace
We are currently working on a bathroom renovation for a home in Wilmington, NC that has a dual-sided fireplace that connects the bedroom and bathroom. This master bathroom has a unique layout. With two access doors from the bedroom framing the fireplace, the shower and bathtub are centered in the room, while vanities run along each side wall.
We reframed the shower enclosure to more traditional shape, and to add a bit more privacy. The floor around the tub and inside the shower were replaced with river stone tile, while the rest of the bathroom would floor would be updated with luxury vinyl tile. We removed the two columns from the center of the bathroom and added large, custom decorative beams to the ceiling. Finally, we refaced the fireplace both in the bathroom and bedroom with quartz tile and added a custom mantle. See work in progress photos below:
